Orientation Arrivals

Transportation will be provided free of charge, for the following locations and times. Transportation requested outside of scheduled travel times is subject to availability and student charges. Requests for student arrival transportation must be entered by Sunday, August 25.

It is with regret, that Brentwood College School cannot accommodate early arrivals during this busy week.

SEC Member Arrivals

Sunday, September 1

Transportation is available for:

Flights arriving before 4:00PM into Victoria Airport, Nanaimo Seair or Victoria Inner Harbour
Students taking the 12:00PM sailing from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay
Students taking the 11:25AM sailing from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay

Orientation Assistant Arrivals

Monday, September 2

Transportation is available for:

Flights arriving before 4:00PM into Victoria Airport, Nanaimo Seair or Victoria Inner Harbour
Students taking the 12:00PM sailing from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay
Students taking the 11:25AM sailing from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay

GRADE 8 arrivals

Wednesday, September 4

All day students are to be on campus by 8:00am.

NEw Student Arrivals (GRADES 9-12, boarding and day)

Tuesday, September 3 - Boarding Students

Transportation is available for:

Flights arriving between 7:00AM - 12:00PM, into Victoria Airport, Nanaimo Seair or Victoria Inner Harbour
Students taking the 10:00AM sailing from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay
Students taking the 9:05AM sailing from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay

Tuesday, September 3 - Day Students

All day students are to be on campus by 8:00am. New day students are asked to stay in their houses overnight Tuesday and Wednesday, before returning home on Thursday.

Returning grade 9-11 arrivals (boarding and day)

Thursday, September 5 - Boarding Students

Transportation is available for:

Flights arriving before 3:30PM, into Victoria Airport, Nanaimo Seair or Victoria Inner Harbour
Students taking the 1:00PM sailing from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay
Students taking the 11:25AM sailing from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay

Thursday, September 5 - Day Students

All day students are to be on campus by 8:00am.

Returning Grade 12 arrivals (boarding AND DAY)

Wednesday, September 4 - Boarding Students

Transportation is available for:

Flights arriving before 8:30PM, into Victoria Airport, Nanaimo Seair or Victoria Inner Harbour
Students taking the 3:00PM sailing from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay
Students taking the 1:40PM sailing from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay

Wednesday, September 4 - Day Students

All day students are to be on campus by 8:00am.

Please note: To facilitate the safe and prompt arrival of the student body, Brentwood College School cannot service other locations or times during orientation week. Please see our list of external providers for other travel options at this busy time.

How to get here

Arrivals on campus are welcomed by vehicle, seaplane or boat. Please contact reception in advance, if you would like to utilize our private dock.

We are approximately half way between Nanaimo and Victoria airports and ferry terminals.

How to Request School Transportation

Enter your student's arrival plans into MySchool before the deadline
Check for Brentwood transportation upon arrival to your destination

Travel must be entered by Sunday, August 25 or Brentwood transportation cannot be guaranteed.

Make sure to include:

Specific travel details (flight numbers, arrival times, sailing details etc.)
Information on luggage, if travelling with more than two large luggage bags, boxes, or any kind of sports equipment.
